Alyssa Villalpando

Alyssa Villalpando is a second-year Masters of Public Health Student, specializing in Health Administration and Policy at the University of Nevada, Reno. She previously earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Public Health, minoring in Human Development/Family Studies from UNR in 2023. Alyssa has a personal connection to dementia, which informs her advocacy work for the DEER Program. Her passion lies in enhancing healthcare access and community resources for underserved populations, with a focus on Hispanic and Native American Communities. Through the DEER Program, Alyssa is committed to ensuring these communities receive culturally appropriate care and takes great pride in seeing them prosper and receive the care they deserve.
