Cody received his Master’s of Public Health in Health Promotion and Behavioral Sciences from San Diego State University and a Bachelor’s of Science in Community Health Sciences (Emphasis in Public Health) and a Minor and Certificate in Gerontology from UNR. Following the completion of his Master’s degree, Cody moved to Las Vegas to work as a Dementia Care Coordinator for the Alzheimer’s Association. In addition to his DEER Program role, Cody also serves as a Clinical Coordinator for Southern Nevada Psychological Services, leading their cognitive rehabilitation program for older adults living with dementia in group home settings. Cody is passionate about serving older adults, particularly those living with dementias and those in underserved communities.
